Putzu Idu is a characteristic and unique beach of fine white sand on the west coast of Sardinia in the province of Oristano.
It is surrounded by the Salt flats that lie immediately behind it, and stretches between S'Arena Scoada and Mandriola showing a long beach of crystal clear turquoise shallow water very suitable for children.
From Putzu Idu it is possible to reach by sea the island of Mal di Ventre; it is also possible organizing trips to the cliff and fishing tourism. There is an ample parking, accessible to motor homes, facilities for the disabled, hotels, restaurants, bars and eateries. You can also rent pedal boats and boats. The beach is particularly popular for scuba diving and snorkelling, as well as being popular for people practicing windsurfing.
